About TexturePop

TexturePop is a free stock photo site focused on textures. While many of the photos are pure texture shots, there are also many intended as reference photos for modelers and artists. As the site grows we will better understand what type of images our visitors want most and do our best to meet the demand.

About the Images

Most photos on this site are very high-quality JPEGs shot in 3036 x 2010 resolution on a Nikon D70. Minimal post-processing was performed on these images.

About the License

Use of these textures is free for personal or commercial products, only DO NOT sell them, host them, or otherwise redistribute them in unmodified form or as part of collections of textures or stock photos.

About Pop

Pop takes the photos for TexturePop.com.

Born in Southern California in the 1940s, Pop first got serious about photography while in the Navy during the early 1960s. He has never stopped taking pictures since.

Even though digital is his film of choice, Pop still owns dozens of antique film cameras including 50 Argus cameras.

Pop also oil paints in an abstract style.
